The Lorain County Treasurer’s Office offers a monthly installment plan designed to assist taxpayers in budgeting their semi-annual real estate tax bills.

Here’s how it works

The Prepayment Plan provides for monthly payment of current (no delinquencies) semi-annual real estate taxes.

The Taxpayer must enter into a Real Estate Escrow Agreement with the Treasurer’s Office which lays out the terms and conditions of the programs. This information will be mailed to you upon receipt of the application.
